Graduate Student Profile
Melissa’s goal is to build a career in post-secondary education wherein she is able to make a difference in the lives of others through agriculture. Her research interests are derived from her commitment to effectively and creatively educate people about agriculture. They include developing creative methods to deliver and enhance knowledge of agriculture for all youth, and the benefits to youth and adults of agricultural activities. She is strongly interested in work related to the horse industry because of her background in equine science and personal/professional experiences with horses.
