Dr. Tucker is coordinator of the
Agricultural Communication Program, in which he teaches undergraduate and
graduate courses and serves as co-advisor to the Agricultural Communicators of
Tomorrow (ACT) student organization. An active participant in Purdue's
writing-across-the-curriculum effort, Dr. Tucker collaborates with faculty
throughout the college to help improve writing instruction in various majors and
genres as well as encourage more sound assessment of student communication
outcomes. His research is focused on understanding and improving consumer and
farmer decision-making about food and agricultural issues.
