Graduate Student Profile
Josey is a master’s degree student.  She grew up on a small farm in Vigo County were she developed a passion for agriculture and animals.  While completing her bachelor’s degree at Purdue University, she had internship experiences with Heifer International as an education volunteer and several dairy farms.  These experiences fueled her interests in agriculture and science and made her realize she wanted to pursue a career in extension education.  Her interests lie in developing and implementing programs that will inspire youth to become interested in science and agriculture.  Her research interests while at Purdue lie in small ruminant quality assurance for 4-H youth livestock projects.
