The Office of Multicultural Programs (OMP) in the College of Agriculture at Purdue University will host 2, one day regional programs for middle school students, a three-day commuter/residential professional development for science teachers and a two-week residential pre-college summer enrichment program for high school students.​

The Purdue Agribusiness Science Academy (PASA) for Science Teachers is offering a unique, on-campus or day visit learning opportunity that will provide high quality professional development for 8th-11th Science Teachers. The academy will bring teachers together to experience​ recent updates in plant, food, and biological sciences and to promote interactions among Teachers and Purdue Scientist.

​Tier 3 - PASA High School Summer Institute

​​JULY 9-22, 2017 - Applications Open January 1, 2017

Registration Fee: $350 - Fill out all applications (scholarships)

A 13-day residential program for high school students entering 10th, 11th and 12th grade with post-secondary aspiration and intensions. The intent is to immerse participants in a specific field of study, through a series of hands-on labs, and workshops designed to provide real-life experiences within the STEM fields throughout our academic departments offered through the College of Agriculture and College of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. Students will pick a track (theme) of study and have research projects to complete and present during the institute.

Tier 3 - Application Checklist

Applications will not be considered unless all the following materials are completed and submitted before the deadline:
  1. Student Application Form
  2. Guidance Counselor Recommendation Form
  3. Teacher/Community Member Recommendation Form
  4. Official School Transcript – provided by your school  (Minimum 2.85 G.P.A.)

Tier 3 - Applications can be submitted:

  • Online (preferred): Application; Guidance Counselor Form; Recommendation Form
  • Email: Scan completed application forms, transcripts and email to: omp@purdue.edu
