Michelle has worked in IPIA since 2013. She is one of the Program Managers for Afghanistan projects and has traveled to Afghanistan since coming on board. She works closely with Purdue faculty, faculty at Afghan universities, and project sponsors to ensure the projects are administered smoothly and meet the proposed objectives. Her current projects include the University Support and Workforce Development Project (USWDP) and Afghanistan Agricultural Extension Program II (AAEP II). Previous projects in IPIA include: Afghanistan Agricultural Sanitary/Phytosanitary Project (SPS), Afghan Junior Faculty Development Program (AJFDP), MAIL Agricultural Data Collection and Utilization Project (ADCUS), and Strengthening Extension Skills of Young Professionals in Afghanistan and Pakistan (AfPak).
Her background is in cultural and biological anthropology. She received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2013, signifying her expertise in project management.
