Amanda Dickson has 6 years of experience living and working abroad on 2 different continents. Amanda was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay, South America for 3.5 years working with farmers to learn new techniques such as contour farming, crop rotation, using green manures, beekeeping, and introducing new cash crops. Amanda worked in South Korea with students ranging from elementary to college to improve their English proficiency. Recently, Amanda has been working as a Purdue Extension Educator in Agriculture and Natural Resources. She works with educators across the state and program areas to deliver high impact, educational programs. In her new role as the International Extension Program Coordinator, Amanda will develop relationships with agencies across the world and build a bridge between the skills and knowledge that Purdue Extension Educators, Faculty, and Hoosiers have and the countries and people that want to learn those skills.
