Many people think of electron microscopy as a higher
magnification version of light microscopy.
However with modern instrumentation and accessories we can analyze
chemical composition, localize proteins, visualize in 3 dimensions AND image
with high resolution. The Life Science
Microscopy Facility at Purdue has a new director and has recently installed new
instrumentation. This seminar is to
bring to everyone's attention to some of the remarkable opportunities that the
facility provides. The goal is to
illustrate the capabilities of the facility by using relevant images and data.
