Personal Information

Dr. Hester grew up on the coast of North Carolina in a small town of Beaufort. She has 2 dogs and a cat with her husband, George William Hester, Jr., who donates his time to implement and maintain the engineering component of her research. Both of her sons, Geordie and Shawn, are Purdue graduates in engineering.
