A student interested in pursuing MS degree is needed to work on a project involving food allergic response in a swine model of soy protein allergy. Student should have interest in immunology and genomics. Student must have strong background in biology (animal science, veterinary medicine or human medicine) and able to learn laboratory procedures. The research involves the use of pigs lines selected for high and low immune response both as an agricultural species and as a model of human food allergies. Starting date is August 2015.
