Department: Agronomy

I am a Master’s student in Agronomy, specializing in Plant Genetics and Breeding in Mitch Tuinstra’s lab. I am studying EMS-induced dhurrin mutants in sorghum and how disruption of dhurrin production affects growth and development of sorghum. I am also interested in the relationship between dhurrin and stay-green, a drought tolerance mechanism.
