Current Research:

The use of fungicides on corn has recently increased as a result of higher grain market prices, changes in cropping practices, and the availability and marketing claims of new fungicides.  I am studying application and timing effects of QoI and DMI fungicides on disease control and plant health in field corn.  I hope to determine the effects of these products under multiple growing environments in order to evaluate the impact of these practices on corn production and offer advice on the value of applying these products.
