Main Purpose of Position:
This role contributes to the development of New Animal Health Products through proof of concept (POC) studies, molecule (ME) and
product line extensions (PLE) across food and companion animal species by planning, coordinating, implementing, and reporting pilot
and pivotal studies in compliance with global regulatory standards and guidelines. This role will achieve the planning, coordination,
implementation and reporting through authoring protocols, selecting and providing oversight of CROs and conduction key study
functions for GLP, GMP and GxP study protocols. The individual in this role is expected to perform leadership responsibilities across the
food and companion animal business units in the US Affiliate to deliver meaningful innovation for US customers.

Key Technical Responsibilities:
Design/Develop GxP, GLP and GMP studies, coordinate the collection and review of data output. Write and review final
reports
Identify and select CROs and establish contract agreements, and maintain a positive business collaboration
Coordinate, supervise and/or conduct Clinical, Development and Registration activities as necessary
Prepare regulatory Clinical and CM&C technical section, as necessary, in partnership with Elanco Regulatory Affairs
Review study protocols and final reports for compliance
Basic Qualifications:
DVM, PhD, or MS in Animal Science or related biomedical field,
DVM with 3 years research experience
Master Degree with 5 years of research experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing
