Associate Account Executive (AAE)
Responsible for production and servicing of new and renewal transportation accounts. The AAE will be working with motor carriers with 50 and 250 units that generate 5 million to 25 million in annual revenue. Estimated annual premiums for individual client will be $200,000 – $1,000,000.
AAE will be assigned a protected territory where he/she will be expected to market, sell and service all B&L products and services. AAE will be responsible for maintaining relationships with current customers/buyers in addition to establishing new relationships. AAE will report directly to a Sr. Account Executive within the assigned territory.
Skill set required
Candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in fast paced environment. AAE’s must be capable of multitasking and meeting specific deadlines on a consistent basis. The successful candidate will need to be able to establish and nurture relationships both internally and externally. In addition, strong networking skills and the ability to identify centers of influence is essential. Candidate will also need to be able to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment.
Primary and Excess Liability, workers’ compensation, cargo, property, and Independent Contractor coverage’s (Occupational Accident, NTL/Bobtail, Physical Damage).
Candidates with 2-5 years of prior insurance or transportation experience are preferred.
