Our company manufactures material handling equipment for dry fertilizer.  The candidate we are looking for would be focused on selling our equipment to fertilizer retailers and terminals in Indian, Ohio, and Michigan.  We consider our jobs as salesmen to be problem solvers for our customer.  We get to help them layout the equipment to increase their efficiencies.  Our product line allows our sales team to sell the benefits of our system thanks to our engineering and R&D.  Candidates can check out our website at

Job summary
Present and sell Yargus Manufactured goods to potential and existing designated customers in designated territories. Attendance is required at industry Trade Shows and Conferences in specified territories.  Conduct activities following industry related Trade Shows and Conferences to supply requested information to customer base and to update Yargus Landslide database of new opportunities and customer information.  Coordinate with Yargus Manufacturing, Inc. corporate office staff regarding sales drawings and quotes as needed to meet customer needs, supplying all requested information on sales checklist.  Build relationships and customer referral base with fertilizer producers, dealers, and retail blender companies in specified territories.  Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Prepare presentations, proposals, quotes, and contracts as needed. Complete and send in weekly expense reports to accounting and sales manager, Send Call Report to Yargus Corporate office weekly. Call report is to include; but not limited to, contact name, company name, lead activity, and quotes sent out for the specified week. Prepare and send in itineraries for the upcoming week to the sales manager. Participate in departmental annual budget planning process. Compose and maintain a listing of viable trade shows and conferences to attend. Maintain territory contact list in Landslide, which would include all contact names and information.  Work closely with Yargus Distributer networks in designated territories. All other duties as assigned by Sales Manager or company President.  Must demonstrate safe work habits.

Must demonstrate organization skills.  Must demonstrate computer skills as required.  Must ensure operations of the department run in an efficient manner.
Minimum requirements
BS degree or equivalent work experience.
40 Hour Work Week
