Accepting Applications for: Safety & Risk Customer Coordinator in Avon, IN
Co-Alliance's new Innovative Business Solutions area has created an Avon-based traveling position in cooperation with our Safety & Risk Management team. The position will be a designated contact to farm customers requesting safety and risk management services throughout our trade area. Responsibilities will encompass the sale of such services, scheduling coordination, and implementation of consulting, training and risk management services. Additionally, the position will work to ensure customer compliance with the various agencies rules and regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Sales contacts and relationships with potential customers.
  • Coordination of schedules for consulting and training.
  • Managing customer projects, initiatives and interaction.
  • Keeping current with major, significant and applicable regulations.
  • Attending issue-based and regulatory seminars on behalf of the company, customers and our businesses.
  • Coordinating with outside agents and agencies the periodic inspections and audits as
    required or needed.
  • Assisting the Safety & Risk Management Department in their efforts.
    Responsibility for and assistance in implementing OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other required training programs.
  • Conducting educational and training based on ability, needs, regulatory requirements and general requests.
  • Assisting in special projects to promote environmental and safety awareness with employees farmers and local organizations.
    Assistance in public relations that will enhance the image of Co-Alliance and agriculture
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years sales/relationship building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude, farm background and experience helpful.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility and skillful management of changing priorities
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Enthusiastic, creative and innovative team player
  • Polished, effective communicator in person, on the phone, electronically, and in
    presentation to individuals and groups.
