Ag Assure, LLC, part of The Assure Group is seeking a high-energy sales professional who desires to learn
and achieve success as a Crop Insurance Agent. The keys to success in this position are developing strong
relationships and partnering with producers while following up with the details to help customers manage their
farm business risks.
The ideal candidate will have an agricultural background with sales experience, and have some contacts and
relationships in the area they will be selling in. Candidates must be aggressive on the sales side but also detailoriented
to do the follow-up work necessary for long-term success. Good computer skills, a desire to
continuously learn and keep up-to-date, plus an ability to educate farmers are all key characteristics for
candidates to have.
We provide significant training, and sales tools that are unique within the industry to help you achieve success.
Income potential for a solid performer is not capped.
Candidates with the drive and determination to build a service-oriented sales territory should contact us with

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Implements marketing plan and develop sales strategies that generate profitable sales in the assigned
territory.
Utilizes target marketing and professional sales techniques and emphasis of appropriate features and
benefits, and contact management system when calling on insureds and prospects.
Develops territory and competitive analysis to maintain a current knowledge of the marketplace and the
competition.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a college degree in agriculture, marketing, or other business related discipline and
sales/marketing experience to demonstrate the ability to generate profitable sales in the assigned
territory.
Requires a Property & Casualty or Crop only license depending on state requirements.
Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
Demonstrates planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel independently and

overnight as needed.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer
focus, and decision-making and skill development.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on Crop Insurance,
its policies and procedures.
