Elanco New Product Planning and Portfolio Management Internship (Food Animal Health - Summer 2013
-These internships are approximately 12 weeks in duration.
-This internship will be located in Greenfield IN or across the United States.
The New Product Planning (NPP) Intern will assist Elanco’s Global New Product Planning and Portfolio Management group in developing and utilizing financial and economic modeling tools to evaluate new animal health technologies. This person will work with the NPP team to further develop modeling and market analysis capabilities for new technologies being acquired or developed by the Global Elanco R&D organization. A successful individual in this role will be able to work within teams to understand key economic drivers in animal health and translate those to customer value impacts.
· Work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts across Elanco to translate animal production economic models into key customer value drivers
· Utilize Excel-based modeling tools to develop dynamic user-friendly economic and market analysis simulations
· Assist with financial evaluation of new technologies including NPV, ROI, and other financial metrics
· Perform other duties as needed in support of the Global NPP and Portfolio Management team
-Interns will be responsible for a specific project to be completed within the 12 week timeframe Expected to network within the organization manage your time effectively have strong organizational skills and demonstrate leadership capabilities
-All interns are required to present their projects to a large group at the end of the 12 week period
