Agrium Advanced Technologies, a decentralized Strategic Business Unit of Agrium, is currently recruiting for the
following position:
Sales Internship – Agriculture – IN, OH, MI
Job Description
Reporting to the Eastern Region Sales Manager, Agriculture, this position will be responsible for supporting the
sales initiatives of the agriculture product line. As a member of our East Region sales team, this role will
develop and enhance relationships with agriculture customers in the assigned geographic territory of Indiana,
Ohio, and Michigan.
Required Skills
• Actively support the sales team in these states to develop and maintain solid customer relationships
• Execute plans that will assist in achieving sales objectives and expand the sales territories
• Communication of key programs
• Providing direction for logistics needs and product placement
• Compiling and communicating up-to-date competitive market environment data relative to the industry and
local sales territories
• Providing training and support to agriculture Retailers around ESN and the AMP Micro-nutrient line
Required Experience
• Current Junior or Senior earning a Bachelor degree in Business or Science relevant to Agriculture
• Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives with analytical and reporting capabilities
• Knowledge of fertilizer and crop protection products and associated marketplace conditions
• Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to develop strong client relationships
• Motivated self-starter with results and solution orientation and the ability to sustain a professional growth
strategy while working independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office components Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Although this position is home-based, extensive travel within assigned geographic territory is required (60-
70%). A company vehicle will be provided, so you must have a driver’s license and a good driving record

This position will be a Summer internship (May-August)
