dunnhumbyUSA Summer Intern Program
It’s never too early to start seeking extraordinary talent, and that’s what we aim to do with our internship program. This program isn’t about learning how to take a coffee order, it’s about doing hands on work inside our company while learning about our culture. Working closely with their managers, interns spend 10 weeks of their summer completing a project that will actually impact the way we do business. At the end of their time with us, the interns present their project and their findings to some of our business leaders and give their recommendations for moving forward with their findings. Interns are the pipeline to our Graduate program and we convert many of interns each year. We give our interns real responsibility because we know they’re capable of doing real work, and we want them to have the opportunity to showcase that.
Data Analyst Intern – This position involves extracting the information we need from our databases and turning it into actionable analysis. Analysts identify essential data and then use templates, procedures and statistical software to develop insights based on that data. The insights they find allow us to drive better execution for pricing, promotions, innovation, local marketing, service, and loyalty.
ü Working towards Bachelor’s or Master's degree typically in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Market Research, Marketing, Business Analytics, Information Systems or another quantitative program.
ü Strong verbal and written communication skills
ü Excellent Microsoft Office skills using Excel, PowerPoint, Word
ü Translate market research analysis results into business and marketing solutions and communicating / presenting the results and recommendations to the key internal / external stakeholders using Microsoft applications like Excel, Word and PowerPoint
ü A strategic, creative and analytical mind
ü Excellent time management skills; knowledge of project management tools desired
