Mortar Board annually awards graduate fellowships to encourage Purdue students of high character and ability to pursue an advanced degree in graduate or professional studies. Through the awarding of these fellowships, Mortar Board seeks to benefit and recognize students who show potential leadership in their chosen field and in their community. Mortar Board awards up to ten fellowships annually, each in the amount of $2,500.
Applicants must receive a baccalaureate degree from Purdue University in December 2013 or May and August 2014 and plan to pursue an advanced degree in graduate or professional studies in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015. Second-year Purdue PharmD students entering their third year of study in Fall 2014 may also apply. A minimum graduate index of 3.2 is required.
Completed applications must be turned in no later than 5 p.m., Friday, February 28th, on BoilerLink or to Schleman Hall, Room 250.
