In the spirit of institutional cooperation, the Big Ten schools with agricultural programs are once again gathering our alumni and friends in the Washington, D.C. area for a special event on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
Purdue Dean of Agriculture Jay Akridge invites you to join us at the National Press Club for a reception and to enjoy the fellowship of alumni and friends from the colleges of agricultural sciences and natural resources representing Michigan State University, The Ohio State University, Penn State University, Purdue University, University of Illinois, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, University of Wisconsin, Rutgers University and the University of Maryland. Learn how our colleges are working cooperatively on behalf of land-grant institutions.
Dean Akridge will be in attendance, as will Donya Lester from the Purdue Ag Alumni Association. Purdue's citizen advocates, our representatives to the national advocacy organization, the Council on Agricultural Research, Extension and Teaching (CARET) will also be in town for their annual meeting and Hill visits and will be joining us for the reception.
We hope you can join us for some great food and fellowship.
