Things to do while you’re in Indianapolis:

There are tons of things to do within a five block radius of the hotel. If you can’t get enough shopping, well, we have a great shopping mall called Circle Center just three blocks east of the hotel. It has some great shops like: Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, Talbots, and Nine West. While at the mall check out Godiva Chocolates or visit Jonny Rockets for a great hamburger. There’s plenty to see too: The Eiteljorg Museum of Western Art, the Indiana State Museum WITH an IMAX Theater and the NCAA Hall of Champions are just two blocks west of the hotel. If your family is looking for something to do, check out the Indianapolis Zoo and the White River Gardens. (The zoo has recently added the International Orangutan Center.) Or, have a great time at a baseball game at Victory Field Baseball Park just two blocks west and one south of the hotel. Why not enjoy a picnic at the white River State Park or the Military Park both only a few blocks from the hotel? And be sure to take a stroll to the Indiana Convention Center and Lucus Oil Stadium and see the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts play. There is so much to do in downtown Indianapolis!

If you want to go for a drive there is always the Children’s Museum, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, or the Indianapolis Museum of Art all within a short driving distance of downtown IndyMaybe stroll through Crown Hill Cemetery and see if you can find John Dillinger’s grave site. How about a play at the Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre or the Indiana Repertory Theatre? These are only a few suggestions. There is plenty for you and your family to see and do while you attend the 2014 NCR Certification and Training Workshop this August.

Remember dinners are on your own. Right in the hotel they have Shula’s Steakhouse or here’s a link to Downtown Indianapolis Restaurants.
